Critical IngredientsYou will need to be at least 18 years old, with a GED or High School Diploma preferred. You will need to possess basic math and solid problem-solving skills. Nights and weekends are very busy, so you will need to have the ability and desire to work those shifts. The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in the operation of a Papa John's restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability.
Responsibilities: Restaurant Area Supervisor Summary Supervises the management of multiple Papa John's restaurants, ensuring people development, product quality, customer satisfaction, image management, restaurant profitability and assimilation into Papa John's culture.
Another difference is that a shift leader has less responsibility than a manager. A manager generally handles the overall inventory, budgets, and all other facets of the business, while a shift leader is only responsible for overseeing staff and ensuring high customer satisfaction rates.
A Shift Leader is a professional in charge of providing direct supervision and ensuring everything runs smoothly during their shift-based job. The duties include covering for absences from coworkers and managing cash drops off by employees when they're not working.
Restaurant Team Member The Restaurant Team member performs assigned workstation duties to ensure quality products and service are delivered to our customers meeting Papa John's standards.
Assigned tasks and oversaw the direction of employees to ensure compliance with food safety procedures and quality control guidelines. Developed and maintained exceptional customer service standards. Optimized profits by controlling food, beverage and labor costs on a daily basis.
Providing appropriate training and support to employees. Addressing customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Upholding safety standards and adhering to company policies. Supervising and directing kitchen staff and other team members.
Perform assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients, taking orders, providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers by phone or in person, and acting with a sense of urgency in everything they do.
